There are two excursions planned, namely a “light” and an “advanced” one: The light one is a walk from the hotel to the Balavaux Cabin, form where we’ll enjoy a wonderful view (… and a drink). The advanced option will bring us to the Mont-Fort, 3,330 metres above sea level. Again, we’ll enjoy a wonderful view and a drink at the peak of Mont-Fort. However, this hike is demands a greater effort plus proper equipment (hiking shoes, windbreaker):
